Cape Town to Port Elizabeth

• Follow the line North to the picturesque town of Worcester, from whence your journey branches in an Easterly direction – through the Langeberg mountains and the fruit and wine regions of Robertson and Swellendam – towards the spectacular Eastern seaboard, and the Garden Route, renowned for its dramatic views of the Indian Ocean.
• From George, the Blue Train ascends steeply through the Outeniqua pass, over the mountains towards the Little Karoo. Marvel at the dramatic change, from lush, verdant hillside on the East, to the vermilion sandstone cliffs on the Western face.

Ostrich, Oudtshoorn

• Visit an Ostrich Farm in Oudtshoorn – you may even ride on one if you’re brave enough! And see the awe-inspiring subterranean wonderland of the Cango Caves, before continuing your journey towards the Eastern Cape city of Port Elizabeth on the shores of Algoa Bay – historic landing place of the British settlers of 1820.
