Aventura Resort Swadini

Located within the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve and nestled amongst the serene Drakensberg cliffs, on the banks of the Blyde River , the resort is situated 35km from Hoedspruit. A 75km drive will take you to the Orpen gate of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Makalali Private Game Reserve

The Reserve, founded in 1992, consists of 22 000 hectares lowveld Acacia bush and open savanna grassland, all surrounding the lush, ravine system of the picturesque Makhutswi River. Makalali’s four exclusive 12-bedded camps are situated on the banks of the Makhutswi River. The main lodge overlooks the Monwana River and houses a pool, library, boma, curio shop and a Guerlain health institute. A fully equipped conference room accommodates up to 40 delegates. There are 18 luxury air-conditioned suites all with private decks overlooking the savanna and water-hole, outdoor showers, mini bar fridges and telephones. In addition two safari suites feature private plunge pools and are able to accommodate families with the lounge providing sleeping options for children.
